    Rabbi Yisroel Chaim Blumenthal,
    My first comment on your presentation – I do not know of a writing called the “Jewish Scriptures.” My understanding is that Judaism as a religion actually dates to about the year 1,000 CE, and is traced to Rabbenu Gershon of Mainz, Germany, considered the ‘Father’ of the Ashkenazi Jews. Ashkenazi Jews constitute approximately 90% of all the worlds approximately fourteen million Jews. I do not see modern Jew-ism as the Scriptural worship system of the ancient Hebrew Israelites. Some authors of the Hebrew Scriptures may have come from the Israelite tribe of Yahudah, but it would be very disingenuous to call the whole Hebrew Bible the “Jewish Scriptures.”

    You are correct in observing that modern Christianity has become so misdirected, most likely by the opinions written by the Pharisee named Paul/Saul, of the Greek NT, that Christians tend to ignore much of the Hebrew Bible’s content, that the person Yahshua (Jesus) taught, and that the Greek NT was written about. Nothing taught by the Prophet Yahshua in the NT really has any merit without his connection to the Hebrew Bible. After all, one cannot say that the Prophet Yahshua (aka Jesus) was even a Christian, or that he taught Pauline Christianity, or that he thought he was “God the son” while walking the sands of Palestine. He was a true born Israelite, and preached and taught Israelism, and the original principles of the Law.

    As has Christianity, Modern Judaism has also deviated away from the principles defined in the Hebrew Bible by way of placing value upon man-made traditions, and even holding those traditions above the Hebrew Bible. Both Christianity and Judaism have become corrupt religions systems, by straying from the simple truths found in the teachings and the instructions given by YHWH to his inspired tested and anointed Israelite prophets. Yes, Literary Content of the Hebrew Bible can often result in subjective interpretations, as is evident by the extensive volume and writings of Talmud and the Kabala – none of it inspired. This also goes for modern Christianity as well, and the entire NT Greek writings, none of it are inspired, but to be fair, it also does not claim to be.

      It is Interesting to me how people completely misrepresent others when their own religion is questioned. You do not even hide the fact, when you point fingers at those that may disagree with your own position, even without providing any fact, or providing Biblical proof. It sure does not help you being unwilling to disprove a claim or a false charge made by your opinion to another. Is it your primary purpose to condemn all those that might disagree with your own understanding, by simply making claims of racism to someone not a Jew? If that is the case, you have really proven to me just who you are . . . . you have really shown your colors to me, and if that is representative of your religious belief, I would not think Rabbi Blumenthal would want you all over his site accusing others when they make comments either.

    When you treat someone’s scriptures and beliefs as putty the way you do John William, it is hard to provide “proof” which you would view as such, because you utilize unequal weights and measures. You are as one deciding on the fly inconsistently which books you accept, and which you will not.

    You have mangled and mutilated not just the Hebrew Bible, but the Christian scriptures as well. You have stated that neither of them are inspired, that they are corrupted, etc. That’s what we call a stacked deck.

    On your site you refer to your movement as (post Moses Israelite Yahwism)

    Post Moses? You don’t leave anything in either tradition intact or unadulterated. Its swiss cheese to you.

    Take your antisemitic anti Christian garbage to another blog where people have comprehension problems.

    I may not agree with the Christians, but I don’t rip their books apart and claim to be reading them correctly.

    If you have trouble owning your own views, that’s not on me. You screaming “I am a leopard with circles BUT NOT SPOTS doesn’t change the material facts as YOU have presented them.

    Also, if you don’t want to be confused with a racist by people, maybe don’t use their symbols, methodology, arguments. and express their underlying assumptions about life? Just a thought.

    “True Israelites are never called Jews, and have never been Jewish. True Israelites never practice the cultic religious system of the Jews. True blood Israelites are always of the Caucasian white Semitic Adamic race.”

    So, what are you True Israelites after John ?
    You came here to talk about christians? Let us know you study the torah but please don’t confuse you guys with those Jews. Or just to let the Jews here know their fools and to pack their bags and follow you?

    By the way, you have a nice looking house. Right next to a winery, very nice.

      Good day.

      First of all , I hope you don’t mind if I share some thoughts on your recent conversation with John-William.

      Please educate me on the requirements one should have to participate in a civil discourse on this blog .I have been following this blog for a few years . I read the “Comment Policy” of the blog and to my understanding , anyone is free to comment here irrespective of religion , race or creed.

      John-William commented on an article in the blog and instead of responding to his comment, Larry proceeded to enquire John about his website . John’s beliefs/creeds , gleaned from his website dominated the conversation and influenced your responses to his comment.

      In my opinion , the outcome of the conversation would have been different if John had not shared the link to his website upon posting his comment in this blog.

      I learn from your conversation with John that there is a “background check” conducted before one can have a civil conversation on this blog. In fact I observe that John is not the first person being subjected to this check . As such, I would advise for one to not share his/her website information when posting comments here .

      I am not white or semitic .I find John’s views as abhorrent as you do. However we should not deprive him of the chance to have a civil discourse here. John has been civil throughout this conversation. Perhaps John may even reconsider his views from the interaction here , had he been given the opportunity.

      Please correct me if I misunderstand your conversation . Thank you.

        I asked about the flag on his website and I showed how his response to Bible 819 was confusing. Thats all.

        This is where he “invited me” to his web site after telling me that the flag was the true Israel flag and the “Israel or the King David is a symbol adopted by the current State called Israel, but the State is occupied by a people called Jews, so go figure that one. ”
        He posted his web site AOYcascade.com, and gave me a run down of his belief.
        His comments were alarming to say the least. He was not hiding anything.
        So I went to his web site and started reading and the more I read the more I was concerned about his true mission so to speak.

        This isn’t the first time you have been unhappy with me getting to know someone by following their links to their sites. Don’t confuse a “background check” with an invitation to get to know them and their views better. It’s the same as posting everything they say on their website to this website. He wants us to read it.
        Even if He had not posted his web site, him leaving a link to his name is an invitation to his site, in my opinion.

        I also disagree here, it’ not uncivil to challenge racism like this. John is not deprived from reconsidering his views. He has had 77 years full of opportunity.

    Larry, I haven’t said this one in a while, but Amen! Good faith discussion is for those who come in good faith.

    Sharon, John William’s site is littered with antisemitic, and I would also add anti Christian statements and sentiments. The opinions expressed were of the same thought framework that the Nazis had, all while he was deceptively distancing himself from being called a racist.

    As you saw from his final comment, his mask came off.

    As I said in my comments to him, he does not use the texts of Jews, or even of the Christians with even a hint of integrity or consistency. He made known in his comments to me that he was aware of various biblical scholars, and their works. That admission of his together with the articles on his site shows me that he is a dishonest actor who is knowingly manipulating peoples’ sacred texts.

    This is exactly what has been done by ideologues throughout history with the Bible to terrible and genocidal effect.

    I don’t know if you read the comment, but I even wrote to Larry exactly the game this guy was playing. I say “game” because he made no attempt to grapple with the authorial intention of any of the books.

    John William has to get rid of the texts and concepts from the Jewish and Christian scriptures which flatly contradict his position, and which he dislikes.

    That is not a person who is coming in search of learning, nor even of classic preaching of a position.

      Good day. Thank you for the feedback to my comment.

      I visited John’s website and went through your conversation . I noticed that both of you were concerned about the flag displayed at John’s website, which John claimed to the True Israelite flag. Concerned Reader described the flag as “Confederate flag gussied up with a cross BS”. I am not familiar with US history and about the flag, so I checked about it online. The flag at John’s website strongly resemble the Confederate flag which if I’m not mistaken , is associated with racism and white supremacy. I now understand why both of you feel so strongly about John William’s ideology. My apologies for being ignorant of this.

      LarryB, I have misjudged you, my apologies. You do have a point, those who provide links to their website do so with the awareness that there are people out there who will visit their websites .

      John-William is open and honest about his beliefs . However there are people who may harbor the same beliefs as John , but is not that forthright as him. One can only uncover their true motivations by continuously engaging in conversation in which the beliefs they harbor will eventually come to light. There are those of us who initially follow this blog with a set of belief systems .We ended up being involved in conversations where our beliefs were questioned. We eventually owned up and changed our belief systems. However there are also those who chose to stick to their belief systems and not listen to reason.

      Why would John want to engage with a blog which clearly advocates teachings contrary to his own belief systems? The only people I know who do that here are Christians with the intent to missionize to the Jews. I don’t think John intends to do that . John could have gone to Christian blogs if he intend to missionize to Christians. Perhaps is there a possibility that John is seeking dialogue , to hear what the other has to say about his beliefs?

      One effective way to overcome anti Semitism is through dialogue. People who dislike Jews normally have a very strong set of false beliefs/myths about Jews in their minds. These beliefs/myths can only be challenged through interaction with a Jewish person(s), if there is such an opportunity. As long as there is breath in one’s nostrils , there is always the opportunity for change.

        Sharon, dialogue is indeed an effective means of combating antisemitism, you should look up Daryl Davis the blues musician, and how he helps Klan members to leave.

        In this situation, If someone comes to conversation at the starting point of dehumanization, and they tell you they have already heard the other positions and rejected them, where can you possibly go?

        I tried to dialogue with him on scripture, I tried to walk him through why I, and the blog had a different perspective. I even explained why a European claiming to be Israel at all is kinda silly if you reject Paul of Tarsus, which John does, even though Paul is the only source of that metaphor of others as Israel.

        I also made clear my desire was not to upset him, or cause him offense.

        The man puts up a Confederate flag, says it represents “true Israel” which he identifies with no doubt “some” European white people, and this was before he started trying to hide his intent.

        He can’t even make this claim about “White Europeans as True Israel” consistently. as he says on his website in an article about today’s Jews: that 90% of today’s “Jews” are Ashkenazi which he insinuates is OBVIOUSLY not really Israelite ( but which is European lol.)

        Ironic isn’t it?

        Today’s orthodox Jews are too white for John William to consider them authentic Israelite Semitic people, but are too foreign to be an authentic white European who can be part of John’s group. LOL

        That last bit kind of hit home for me personally. I am a White US citizen. If you looked at me, you would assume only that I was a White European. A person does not look at me and physically see that I have 1/4 Egyptian ancestry. Its there, but not visible, so nobody knows. When people do find out, they say things like “now that you mention it, I can kinda see it in your eyes, nose, and hair, or when you get a tan.”

        (I get stupid bad sunburn 1st, and then when its gone, I have a really nice tan lol)

        Worse was when some random stranger would hurl antisemitic slurs at me personally, (when I was a Christian no less) because “Oh, I thought you were Jewish.” IE just like someone of European Jewish heritage, I’m too white to be middle Eastern, but look just “foreign” enough for some assholes to make assumptions about me not being “Goldilocks perfection.”

        Dialogue can only be fruitful if both groups express the intent to try and find common ground, or come upon common ground by accident.

        I also have not been feeling as diplomatic. Lost my father recently, so I have a short fuse.

        I had not been here in many many months, and my 1st sighting of activity was that John William guy, Not good.
