Beautiful! The Jewish teaching that man is inherently good–that even evil people have a sensitivity to kindness, justice, and truth–directly opposes the Christian teaching that man is inherently evil and needs to be saved.
It makes a lot of sense, too. I’m unclear about the veracity of Torah, but it makes sense to me that ALL people would do wise and prosocial things all the time if they felt safe to do so, and knew how to. It’s what brings peace in life. Anything else is a lapse in true awareness of the consequences.
