The main reason for the rejection of the predicted New Testament is the same as the rejection of its predictors.

Ezekiel for example describes its widespread acceptance only after a long exile in disobedience.

‭Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.‭ 37.26

The sanctuary was the one described by Daniel as being destroyed at the time of Messiah’s execution. 9.26.

Having left Christianity years ago with much time to reflect on, how can “Jesus” a man be god, that type of belief is right in line with todays thinking or lack of thinking of “men can have babies” which seems to be prevalent on todays higher institutes of learning campuses.
